Design Engineer Responsibilities:

Designing and calculating photovoltaic systems for both rooftop and ground-mounted installations.
Knowledge of software tools like Helios cope, AutoCAD, and Open Solar to create designs for both ground-mounted and rooftop/Residential photovoltaic systems.
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop customized solar solutions that meet project requirements and objectives.
Preparing detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for permitting and construction.
Performing shading analysis, energy production modeling, and financial feasibility assessments.
Must have an Experience of PV designs that incorporate a variety of elements including Single- and Three-Line Diagrams, conduit, wire scheduling, routing, and equipment plans.
