Environment or Social Specialist Responsibilities:
- Ensure the implementation of all the mitigation measures proposed in the Environmental Impact Assessment Report.
- Devise strategy for all the environmental issues that may be encountered during construction.
- Review of Resettlement Action Plan prepared by the Consultant.
- Establish close liaison with environmental experts of consultant and funding agencies etc.
- Coordination with Environment Department for Environmental Approval/ NOC for the project.
- Any other task assigned by the PD during the project.

Environment or Social Specialist Job Education:
- B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering/ Env. Sciences from PEC recognized university/ institute
- Post-Graduation in relevant field and Foreign Qualification will be preferred
Environment or Social Specialist Job Experience:
- Minimum 10 Years Professional Experience in the field of sanitation/ Public Health/ Env. In Public or Private Sector.
- Experience of working on environmental & social safeguards of projects financed by international funding agencies/banks will be preferred.
- Candidate with good communication and managerial skills will be preferred.
